Canadian Indigenous Nurses Association Webinar

‘Collaborative Indigenous Partnership Framework: Supporting Our Unique Expertise – Indigenous Nursing Knowledge’

Our collaborative framework was prepared to inform discussion among the CINA membership at our 2016 National Conference Pre-conference Session; “Developing a Collaborative Indigenous Partnership Framework: Supporting Our Unique Expertise: Indigenous Nursing Knowledge”. Participants provided input at the symposium and a previous CINA – hosted webinar with the focus on the national level work.

More specifically perhaps; is the work of CINA inclusive of regional nursing priorities and is it captured adequately via representation of our regional Board members? How do we capture the diversity of local Indigenous nursing knowledge in the work we do as Indigenous nurses and as a national organization? How can we involve our nurses in the regions in the national work? For example, who are the partners that they need to collaborate with? What are the systemic challenges they face? These and other questions can be discussed on this webinar.

We sincerely hope you will attend and lend your voice to this important work!
